I met a Tamaskan

So I was in Visby, Gotland from sunday to wednesday for the annual Medieval Week there.

On tuesday when walking through town, I saw a dog and thought quickly "elkhound" but immediately noticed "no - that's no elkhound!"
Brownish, different face, and a straight tail. Clearly not a husky, Saarloos or CSW. I rushed after the owners and had to ask about the breed. "It's something called a Tamaskan" they said, and I just went "I THOUGHT it was a Tamaskan!" and they were really surprised I knew about the breed.




I asked about the dog and what breeder it was from. Apparently it's a ten month of female from Blustag, and as they went on about how they are the best breeders and they super-recommend them, I just sort of thought "smile and nod, smile and nod - not the time to go breed club politics".

Really pretty dog though, and she was not the slightest interested in even sniffing me. Tired perhaps.

Very pretty girl. Did you ask maybe who are her parents?

She is pretty! It is a shame her owners are fooled the way so many if us were before by the Blus. I probably would not have held my tounge, but then again I must always repeat to myself, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."
Edit: I just realized that girl is Jenova, I think I've asked what her parents were once, and I'm I've told her owners about the Blus or they saw a post I made on Instagram.

Thought it was just me! She TOTALLY does, much lighter eyes though.

I don't see much lighter eyes on this photo. If I hadn't known, I would say they are siblings... I wonder how her real siblings looks like.
