Hello from Massachusetts :)

Post by Zephyr » Sun May 01, 2011 4:33 am

Hello there! I'm a junior of high school currently active in training and walking dogs, as well as volunteering at local sled dog races as well as with breeders. I'm looking at pursuing a dual BA in Animal Science/A Veterinary Technology at Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts - followed by Veterinary School. I hope to own Tams in the future as both pets and working dogs, and breeding is always a possibility. I'm a strong supporter of natural rearing and raw diets! I'm 'owned' by a 7 year old Labrador Retriever named Brady, and a 1 year old German Shepherd (DDR) named Harrison (who actually belongs to my neighbor, but I'm with the dog 6 hours a day and he's decided he likes me better than his owners )

Just thought I'd introduce myself and get to know other Tam lovers, owners, and breeders :)

I'm Taylor.. by the way..

Hi Taylor,
Welcome!
We don't live very far from one another so we could certainly arrange a visit with my new pup just as soon as she gets here. Actually, does anyone know if there are any Tamaskans that already live in Massachusetts?

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

The wolf that wins? The one you feed!

~ Cherokee Proverb

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity... I'm not sure about the former.

Hi Massachusetts Tam lovers, we are about to move to Vermont from Scotland with our two Tamaskans (both 19 months old). My cousin and his family live in Concord, MA, so maybe we'll come down for a visit sometime.
