Hello, new on the forum!
So we came across this website in search for Tamaskan breeders. I say we because I registered this account for my boyfriend and me. My name is Alina and my boyfriend's name is Randall. We decided finally that it was time for us to start the search for our new family member. We both have a history of dogs, however we do not have any in our house at this current time. I only owned a pug before, but my dad actually ended up falling in love with her. Since he was very adamant on keeping her I allowed him to adopt her. They both love each other to death now, but I still do get time with her every once in a while. She was an amazing dog and the companionship you receive from them is remarkable.
My boyfriend, Randall, has owned numerous dogs in his lifetime. His most recent dogs were two boxers. Unfortunately, he came out to California to live with me and his family wanted to keep the dogs. We have been talking and researching about the dog we wanted to both get for the past year or so now. We ended up discovering about the Tamaskan and really loved everything about them. They are remarkably beautiful and everything that we read about them (ie temperament, companionship, etc) just further reinforces our decision.
We currently live in Los Angeles county in California. I'm finishing my master's degree and am working for the county of Los Angeles as a social worker. My boyfriend is currently attending school while working part time. Our schedules work out pretty awesome as well. I work 4 days a week during the day, and he works at night and also attends classes on the weekends when I am home.
We might have already gotten in contact with some of you on here. It is really important to us that we buy a dog that comes from a loving family. We also love lifelong contact with the family that the dog originated from. I still keep in contact with the breeder who I got my pug from. She loves the occasional updates and pictures :] We read extensively on the puppy mills that are reproducing some of those Tamaskanish mix dogs and are strongly against it. I've already gone through a ton of this forum, so I look forward to speaking with all of you.

Hello Alina, hello Randall

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away

Hi and a slightly belated welcome

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.
The wolf that wins? The one you feed!
~ Cherokee Proverb
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity... I'm not sure about the former.
~ Albert Einstein
