Greetings from Croatia :)
Hi, I'm Luka from Croatia, Karlovac/Zagreb to be more specific (I kinda live in both cities, the first being my home town, the second where my college is). I've been an avid admirer of both Tamaskan dogs as well as Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs for a good four years now, in the end deciding on a Tamaskan because they're just more managable and "easier" for someone like me who has never owned a dog (mind you I don't consider myself a "beginner" as I've done extensive reading on both of the breeds and dogs in general over the last years, have lots of friends with dogs with whose dogs I spent time caring for them when the owners were away, even learning them some things).
I'm registered on this forum for a good while now but have not posted, just been reading here and on the facebook Tamaskan and Sylvaen's page. I don't own a Tamaskan nor plan to in the near future simply because I'm finishing college and have no idea where and how I'll live and work and of course I need to know that and settle down before getting a dog, especially a Tamaskan (my biggest issue is that if I would be living alone, I couldn't leave the Tamaskan alone for 8 hours in the home while I'm at work). So for now a Tamaskan is my silent suffering, hopefully in the future, in one or two or three years I'll figure something out to be able to have a dog for which I can provide the best conditions/time/attention possible.
Anyway great forum and community you have here. I most likely won't be doing a lot of posting since I don't have much to contribute, just thought it would be courteous of me to say hi after reading you all for a long time.

Hi there, welcome to the forum. You should visit Debby who lives close to you in Zagreb
By the way I'm Lucas from Canada. About four people here on the forum who I know of (Debby, Andrija, Nikola, and Dino) live pretty close to you and I think they'll be happy to further explain to you more about the breed.

Hi and welcome

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.
The wolf that wins? The one you feed!
~ Cherokee Proverb
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity... I'm not sure about the former.
