hi from hexxy in Southampton uk
hi im a little confused as to what you would class as a tamaskan. i have looked at many sights that seem to contradicted each other. i recently got a pup and his mum was huskyXmalamute and dad was a gsd. the breeding was a bit of an axedint but would this class my pup as a first generation tamaskan? he has beautiful wolf like markings and his colour mix is gray, black, redish and fawn like a wolf ???? would really apreseat your opinion

Welcome to the forum! We would love to see photos of your dog!
Unfortunately just mixing random dogs together does not create a Tamaskan - the bloodlines are all carefully controlled, fully documented and health tested... and have been for many generations.

Hi and welcome
Like Sylvaen said, the bloodlines have been documented through storing DNA over the generations so it all can be traced back as well as health documentation over the years. All breeding dogs are health tested. All matings are carefully considered weighing up the pro's and cons to a specific pairing (some breeders have travelled hours for the right mate for their dog) and each breeding pup is picked out by conformation, temperament and masking... Much more than just throwing dogs together
Would love to see pics of your boy... He sounds lovely...

There’s a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It’s anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.
The other is Good. It’s joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.
The wolf that wins? The one you feed!

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity... I'm not sure about the former.
