Hello Tamaskan forum! I am Lucas from Toronto, Ontario. Currently there are rarely any Tamaskan dogs in Canada due to the lack of breeders and I am interested in getting this breed in a decade from now. However, I'd like to know when will there be a breeder in Canada?

Welcome Lucas :)

As far as I know there still aren't any Tamaskans in Canada (yet) so it'll be a little while still until there is a registered breeder; at least a few years yet. However, since you're willing to wait a decade, by the time you are ready to get a pup, there should be an established breeder in Canada.

I do get quite regular inquiries from Canada and recently had a phone call from a woman in Calgary who wants a pup. The only way I'd consider sending a pup so far away would be if I met the New Owner first... but this woman is originally from Croatia and has family here, so perhaps she would visit and collect the pup in person. ;)
