RIP Tungsten

Post by balto13 » Mon Aug 19, 2013 4:51 am

My neighbor was dog sitting when the dog collapsed and stopped breathing, her husband had their car so she rushed to our house so we could drive him to the hospital. I drove as fast as I could, but he ended up passing during transit

RIP sweet boy

May Tungsten's owner be granted solace and comfort in knowing they blessed an animal's life with their custody of its being - and remember with joy the shared bond they enjoyed.

There's an old story quoted by a number of authors, I like:
There was an elderly widow whose beloved little dog died after fifteen faithful years. Distraught, she went to her pastor.

"Parson," she said, tears streaming down her cheeks, "the vicar said animals have no souls. My darling little dog Fluffy has died. Does that mean I won’t see her again in heaven?"

"Madam," said the old priest, "God, in his great love and wisdom has created heaven to be a place of perfect happiness. I am sure that if you need your little dog to complete your happiness, you will find her there."

My heart goes out to you all
My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my dog already thinks I am. ~Author Unknown
