Tamaskan Price?

Post by Gemmy »

I'm looking to get a Tamaskan pup by next fall or early 2015 and I'm hoping to put a deposit down on a pup by next summer. I've researched the breed thoroughly and I know this is exactly the dog I want. The only problem I a having is I don't really see much pricing info on pups, only deposit info. How much do Tamaskan pups run in the US? I'm in Dayton, Ohio and I'd prefer to pick up my puppy but if I can't, what is the cost of shipping? I'd really like to here from breeders and owners alike.

Thank You :)

Although I am based in Europe, here are my prices (as well as everything that is included in the price):
http://sylvaen.com/present_litters.html (I haven't updated my website in a little while... )

Personally, I don't accept deposits until AFTER a litter is born, at which point I contact everyone on my waiting list and only then do I start taking reservations. ;)

Thanks for the info! Do you ship worldwide? And if so, what would be the total cost of a pup, preferably a male?

No problem :)
Some of the pups from my current litter will be flying internationally but the cost for shipping / transport via plane cargo depends on the airline, size of crate, weight of puppy + crate, etc... so it is difficult to give an exact figure.

I'm in a similar boat to you. I checked out the breeder's section on this forum - found the ones in my area and then looked up their website and reached out directly to them.

I am pretty sure this has been discussed on here some where… pups are 2,000 dollars across the USA plus shipping if you can pick up.

Hey, I know its bit old thread but important one. I recent shipped my puppy Citizenshipper pet transporting service( check it ). They are one of largest company to ship pet inside US. I am here to not promote them instead i am giving my honest review about them. I liked that's why now i can recommend others.

Now coming on cost it depends upon distance and on company to company.

Yeah, that makes sense. It would be tough for breeders to give an exact price without knowing the specific location of potential buyers since transport costs vary based on where they are located. Plus, as you mentioned, picking up the pup locally is definitely preferable because it means less time apart from your new best friend and less risk of damage during shipping.
Is there a particular website or forum that has a comprehensive list of Tamaskan breeders in the US? It would be helpful to know which ones have good reputations and are located relatively close to me.
