I'd take Kreios in a heartbeat...unfortunately, my puppy fund jar doesn't have enough funds to import a pup. XD Hope these babies get adopted soon! :) I just noticed on the Saxon website that this is their last litter.

He hasn't lived in Bulgaria long enough is what he said to me. Lynn used to ship his pups.

He said he'd be happy to reconsider for their next litter. Ah well... :( Maybe I'll do that? I'm not sure. I would prefer a female anyways.

Next litter? I thought this was Frigga's last one?

I also thought this would be Frigga's last litter (at least, that's what I was told). I don't think it's a good idea to keep breeding the same exact combination over and over... especially as many of these offspring have already gone to future breeding homes.

Personally I don't think so either but....here's what he sent me
Hi there,

I was wondering the cost of him, as well as if you were willing to ship to Calgary, Alberta and how much that might cost.

Thanks
Hi Katlin,
I have not lived in Bulgaria very long and I have not the experience or the contacts to fly a dog to the U.S. but I am going to have to find out as you must be the 12th person from the U.S. that I have had to turn down for these reasons, my dogs should be having their last litter next year, if you have not got your pup by then, contact me again.
best regards pete

I just hope that everything works out well with Pete. It looks like he's in quite a mess right now with the exporting to North America situation as well as the fact that he wrote about having the last litter and yet it does not appear to be the case anymore.

Hi, to clear things up, having lived in Bulgaria for only a short time, I have neither the experience or the contacts to enable me to fly pups to the US. Bulgaria is quite a poor country so finding agents that deal in animal transportation is difficult but I think I may have found one, and yes I had decided that this was to be Friggas last litter, I thought she had done enough but she absolutely loves being a mother and seems to blossom when she has babies to care for, also I have had to turn down that many people from the US (20 up to now) that I have decided to let her have one more litter and when I am sure I can get them to the US, open a reservation list for these people only, and that will be her last litter.

Maybe you could then consider doing a mating with a different male on Frigga so that the offspring will be "worth more" in the genepool?
Doing the same mating 4 times in 4 years is not really beneficial to the breed.. even 3 times is imho stretching it..

I know you live in Bulgaria and the drive to males is pretty far, but it would probably do much more good to the breed as a whole if you did use Frigga with another male which then would make that litter more interesting in breeding homes.. there ought to be a few males around next year that could be worth using..

I agree with Line, The USA has two Frigga x Odin pups in breeding homes in the USA... Would be beneficial to the gene pool to use another male, especially for the USA with us having and extremely hard time finding unrelated dogs.

I just wish, that I would have time for a puppy at the moment and that our hirer would allow dogs in our appartement. I would take Ares at once. Love the color of his fur :)
