I imagine someone stole the pic from the internet, made a classified posting and is trying to get someone to send them money for a dog that does not exist.

RPK just makes me sick - posting adds everywhere just for money.
Re: Tamaskan puppies for sale UK - another imposter?
What is a RP kennel or RPK puppy?
I must be mistaken but I believe saw this very same photo last year...

RP or RPK = RightPuppy Kennel. Please see THIS TOPIC for more info.

Re: Tamaskan puppies for sale UK - another imposter?
There's certainly something funny about it all, especially as they are only £180. I cant imagine he has exported breeding pairs to Britain, Australia (as there is someone there advertising Tamaskans, also with the same picture) etc. And surely if these puppies actually exist they would use their own photos of their litters.
That might very well be true. But I think it is still strange that they are all using the same picture.Tarheel wrote:I imagine someone stole the pic from the internet, made a classified posting and is trying to get someone to send them money for a dog that does not exist.

I think it's all a bit odd.
The price seems suspiciously low - surely anyone would think twice that a new breed is so "cheap".
The phone number seems to be missing quite a few digits too as most area codes are 4-5 digits long followed by a 6-7 digit number - perhaps a scam to encourage email only?
Maybe it's a way to try to con lots of people out of small amounts like a small deposit?

When I started looking for this breed I came across this pic...and a few other with a young woman holding this puppy...I remember it well now! I also remember we discussed the price for this Tamaskan puppy...very cheap
and now I am truly happy I kept on digging info and found this forum, Lynn and all of you!

Re: Tamaskan puppies for sale UK - another imposter?
Well, if it is, I hope people have enough sense to do some Tamaskan internet searches before sending any moneyMelB wrote:Maybe it's a way to try to con lots of people out of small amounts like a small deposit?

Re: Tamaskan puppies for sale UK - another imposter?
It sounds like a scam for "deposits"... though such a small amount would surely raise suspicions, who in their right mind could fall for such a trick to pay only £180 for such a rare breed! It could also be an Identity Theft scam for private info, such as Name / Address / Bank Account Numbers / etc. Realistically, I expect it's probably just someone who bred their "wolfyish" looking dog and is trying to get sell their pups by calling them Tamaskans. But, these days identity theft and cash scams are ever-increasing so I wouldn't be surprised. *sigh*Misaya wrote:This isnt exactly a website, more classified ad. My advice: be wary and stay alert!

Re: Tamaskan puppies for sale UK - another imposter?
o'h no i hope the tamaskan dog breed has not reached the shores of the black country the area that includes rowley regis. this is where i come from originaly, must say i think the dog on the photo looked more like a malamute
.

Re: Tamaskan puppies for sale UK - another imposter?
In some way you can't blame those bad breeders/puppy mills. As long they have buyers, they are producing puppies
The puppy buyers keep those puppy mills up and running
