Goodness me... another Scottish Tam... no photo though.

I noticed the sellers name is Elizabeth. Perhaps it is Liz, she is in Aberdeenshire?

Yes it is Liz's (Alba) phone number so it is her advert. Notice she is advertising it as a 'Tamaskan' even though she is mix breeding her dogs with Northern Inuits and now calls them Aatu Tamaskan... duh!
Re: Tamaskan Male - 8 months old for rehoming (Gumtree)
I was wondering what litter this boy may have come from and noticed that Liz isn't a TBA member anymore...
Well I hope this boy finds a nice home now!

I believe Liz is still part of the TBA, she is just not breeding currently anymore because she had trouble selling her last litter, which I believe this advertised pup is from, and her father hasn't been doing well, I pray for them. I hope he gets a good home, couldn't the Tamaskan Rescue UK take care of him?
Re: Tamaskan Male - 8 months old for rehoming (Gumtree)
You are correct, the ad is posted by Liz. To put some people in their place: I was at her kennels this summer to rehome my wonderful boy who is registered with the TDR with papers. Her facility is very comprehensive and above board as I did full research and she is NOT crossbreeding they are Tamaskan Dogs and every one she has, including the litter she just had, are beautiful. She is a true credit to the breed and doesn't deserve slander so if you have nothing good to say about her (or anyone else for that matter) then kindly keep your opinions to yourself and get your facts right instead of spreading negative rumors!
Re: Tamaskan Male - 8 months old for rehoming (Gumtree)
I hope he finds a forever home soon. I also noticed Liz's name is not on the TBA website at the moment ?.
Re: Tamaskan Male - 8 months old for rehoming (Gumtree)
Ray, we have not said anything about Liz's kennel. But Liz does own a male that is not a pure Tamaskan, therefore we have every right to wonder if this pup is not pure Tamaskan because as of yet we have had no information as regards to parents of this male.
Of course the Tamaskan Rescue UK could take the dog on, but sadly we do not have enough funds to pay the asking price. Should the price be lowered we would buy him, but I am not sure that Liz would be willing to sell to us. We can only hope that a caring home takes him in. I suggest that, if anyone from this forum is interested in an older rescue pup, they get in touch now.

Hi Ray, just to clear things up a bit, and to add to what Jennie wrote: no one here is slandering Liz, or ever has as far as I'm aware - perhaps you have heard differently, in which case please let me know.
I have nothing against her personally, and I've never spoken to her directly as the one email I sent her last year went unanswered.
As far as crossbreeding goes, all of her Tamaskan are legit as far as I know, with the exception of her new stud dog "Bear" who is a Northern Inuit from Cloudberry Farm in the UK. (Unless she has added any other breeds in the meantime.)
While she was still with the TDR there was an investigation into falsified pedigrees and also a complaint regarding the condition of her premises... if you want to discuss this in private, please message me.

We all know that life circumstances do change, and that people make mistakes. No amount of screening puppy buyers is absolute. It is a credit to the surrendering owners to have come the the conclusion that the pup would be better off somewhere else. I am sure that Liz will do a fine job rehoming the boy.
