Creating A New Section for Future "Litters" in the Gallery

Post by Tiantai »

Hey guys,

So I've noticed how the Tamaskan Photos section in the Gallery is starting to fill up with many dogs pictures as well as photos from past litters. I was thinking if it may be necessary to have a section where new Tamaskan litters can be shared on there instead so that in the future we can use it to search for photos and topics of any registered Tamaskan litters without going through so much trouble finding it in the Tamaskan Photos. Just my suggestion. I'm confident this will make them easier to track on the forum.

Lucas

Thank you for your tip. I would say that the photo's and the stories about the upcoming litters fit well in the topic 'Breeding', they don't have to be in the photo topic alone. I believe that there are more breeders that already do that (Saxon/Hawthorne/Sylvaen/WhiteElkStag) and that is what that topic is ment for. I don't think a new topic would be necessary, but it could be that somebody disagrees with me, so lets wait what the others have to say. ;)

Maybe in the breeding section keep it with each topic like it is now but put the topic title as

Sylvaen Vixen/Sire/ 2012

Registered pup name/call name/link to pictures
Registered pup name/call name/link to pictures
Registered pup name/call name/link to pictures
Registered pup name/call name/link to pictures
Registered pup name/call name/link to pictures
(continue for the amount of pups)

Or, each breeder has their own topic and is kept locked unless the breeder needs to update it and put
1 post/1st litter
2nd post/2nd litter
etc with all the details of kennel names, call names and links to pics (sorry if i explained wrong but i hope you understand me).

I think Lucas's suggestion is to keep all litter mates together in an easy to find location for those of us who forget which pup is from which litter and what the call name is :D

Future planning tho
