His eyes are set better than a lot of Tams. His ears are nicely rounded, though they could be smaller…
I know it's too early, but if Noque were to be an outcross I would be very interested in a pup from him! :D

That's what I said....about the outcross/puppy part. ;) I'm hoping for a Noque x Raven. :3 But then again, I'd probably take a Noque pup any day. lol.

I know about 5-10 people that are already intrested in a puppy from him... If he isnt allowed as outcross into tamaskan I think I am going to have to get ancd female. If an outcross is approved after I request it... I think Jo would like to use him on Zelda if they turn out to be compatible.

Agreed. My only concern is how the tails on the pups will turn out as I remember Zelda's tail is rather curly - I guess she takes after Blaze and her great-grandsire, Odin. :P

I think Noque is the best fit for her in this respect since his tail is as straight as and arrow and he doesn't hold it higher than level with his back.

I think Katelyn isn't going to do any hip testing until Noque is about 18 months old...? So that's a little short of 2 years. Hopefully by then, I'll be ready for a puppy. lol.

My personal perfect match for him woudl be Tikaani, because she's so wolfy looking, too! They would probably make amazing puppies.

Gorgeous dog, I'm really looking forward to see his progression and if he'll be accepted as an outcross.

Are his lighter markings, like on his throat, white or more of a buff color?

Not if, but when he is old enough to breed with a Tam, I want a female to breed with Max (whether I own her or someone else). Too bad one of your boys wasn't a girl - imagine the beaury of that litter ;) .

He is a little over 28 inches at the shoulder at the moment and not a hundred percent sure weight wise... but some where in the high 70's-low 80's in pounds is my guess. Temperament wise he is very mellow and sweet (like and old soul), he isn't super outgoing like Zephyr and honestly I am glad (Zephyr is too outgoing and overly friendly... feel like he would go home with most anyone). Noque is more reserved and very bonded to Zephyr and I, but independent enough to go be alone when he wants quiet time.

That's fantastic, I think it really adds to the wolfy look of him, since that's more of what you see in wolves.

Seems like he's going to end up getting pretty big.

Tiantai wrote:Is it possible for Noque to produce Cola and Cinnabar's coat colours should he be used for breeding?
It could be but I wont know until he is coat color tested which I will do after hip/elbow tests and the wolf hybrid test. It will also depend on the bitch he is bred too. with him showing wild type and tams showing wild type I am sure we would get at least some but maybe majority wild types.

Noque does carry liver for sure since his dad is a liver (light but still a liver)... So I will not allow him to breed to bitches who carry liver (The first Munsterland litter could carry liver from Bobbi, The half of the flower litter from a malamute could carry liver, as well as offspring from Winni.) It is my opinion these lines should not be crossed unless the coat color test is done and one or both of the dogs are negative for the color. As for the black there is a chance he could carry the black but only the recessive form of it and it is unclear if Cola is a dominant or recessive black... Both versions of the black are behind the ANCD.

It's highly likely that he is homozygous aw so he either carries a(recessive black) or at(tan points)
both not a big issue since recessive black is allowed and I don't think there are many(or any at all) tams who carry tan points

that is if the aw theory is correct, it hasn't actually been located jet

both not a big issue since recessive black is allowed and I don't think there are many(or any at all) tams who carry tan points

Interesting, Could he carry the gene for white? He has two siblings from this most recent litter that are white.
