Wolf and Dog paintings/portraits
I mentioned in my intro thread that I do artwork, i thought I'd share a couple of my favorites that I thought you guys might like, since canines (especially wolfy ones) are my favorite things to draw =D
and I sometimes do portraits, this is one I did for my roomate's mother after her terrier passed away:

Amazing... beautiful drawings
Re: Wolf and Dog paintings/portraits
I like the last one
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
.............................................................
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Re: Wolf and Dog paintings/portraits
The last one looked pretty sad but overall, very good artworks
Re: Wolf and Dog paintings/portraits
Great work!
Are these aquarelle colors? I really like how you work with them!
Also, have you heard of an artist named GoldenWolf? You should really check her out, she does great art and yours reminds me a bit of it, I'm sure she could be a great source of inspiration for you!
Another tip would be DarkNatasha!

Re: Wolf and Dog paintings/portraits
Thank you for the kind comments!
I have seen Goldenwolfs stuff, I absolutely love her jay-wolf picture. I'm flattered by the comparison! I'm fairly active in the "furry" community under this name and have been lucky to meet DarkNatasha in person at a couple conventions, she's a very sweet person!
I use a mix of watercolors, my absolute favorite colors come from the Holbein watercolor line, though i admit I use some student-quality colors right now too as I'm still building a color collection =). I was just introduced to aquarelle pencils by a friend who gave me a set--they work much nicer than other pencils I've used before.

I'm so sorry for bumping an old thread but I just LOVE your pet portrait style!
As a pet portrait artist on the search for inspiration, I'm so glad I stumbled upon the pet portraits in your post.
I've never seen anyone create wolf portraits before, but hey, there's a first time for everything they say!
I have never seen such different yet beautiful pet portraits before
Great work, I'll definitely make sure to take a look at your Etsy page (if you have one?). Do you have an Etsy page?
I'm actually a pet portrait artist myself, but I'm nowhere near as good as you.
I only work in Photoshop.
