They should really spay her before she leaves... She has already done her time breeding and shouldn't be subjected to more...

Someone who is registered might want to go to the 'other' forum to check if there is an updated link? Just a thought...

If Jennie would live up to TDR breeders standards, she should be contacting Alba for first chance to re-home Zuul.

4 years old bitch who have had 4 litters, how exactly does this even happen? :?
Even if she is 5 soon she would still have had 4 litters and since she would have had to be at least 15 months (I believe it has been changed to 18 months now?) with the first litter, so that's a breeding in every year since then and at least one back-to-back?

She had Easter miracle and because it was the only up to survive, she claimed that was the reason that made it ok to breed again which i assume is John Denver Litter (altho i could have swore it had a different theme   )... This is when i started looking at things a bit more closely... Just because only 1 survived, and they can't have made a lot off that 1 pup they breed again to make up the money they lost... But she still had a whole litter... just 1 surviving shoul not have been an excuse to breed again...

If only one were born and it was an easy whelping (I might have considered either getting hand of another couple of pups of putting 1 pup in another litter so that it can be socialized with "siblings") I could understand it, but the pregnancy of a full litter would still take it's told on the body..

Zuul was born September 2008, so almost 4 years old now.
The X-men litter was from Nevada, not Zuul. She had her litters in May 2010, April 2011 and March 2012. She was mated back-to-back but didn't got pregnant...

That's what I was wondering Terri. Jennie has said before that she is not good with cats but the woman who is selling her says she is good with other dogs, children and cats. Her description needs to be factual or she will only end up in another home that wont keep her :( This whole thing makes me sick

It's hard to know what to believe and people will say anything to make a dog more re-homable if they 'need rid'... As much as i feel bad for her, it's not worth it on my eye's to risk my babies (Sam, cats or kids).
I was considering taking Bear the 1st time because lynn said he was good with other dogs, it's just by chance i decided adding a dog with sever SA to a dog that already had SA was not such a good plan, which was lucky because someone said bear was not good with other dogs... I did pm pawprint on hear to get some more info on him like how bad was his SA to start with but she never replied which didn't give me chance to ask about dogs, cats and kids which solidified my decision...
I would give anything to see her in a good home, did lynn get her spayed before she left? More to the point, are we 100% sure this is Zuul?

I'm asking about the cats...

Well, I think she is actually ok with kids and other dogs. It was just cats that were a problem, but I suppose that might be dependent on circumstances, eg my two live with my cats, but if they see one outside they want to chase it. I dont think she has a great recall, but I suppose that could be worked on. I'm sure it is is Zuul and I am pretty sure they did not have her spayed. I doubt if they would want to spend the extra money when they sold her for so little :(

I didn't think she wold be, was just hoping someone would say yes :( How did they know they didn't sell her to someone who would breed her some more... Retired breeding dogs shold be spayed before been re homed IMO...

I can't stress enough how much i have thought about this... I've gone over different scenarios of ways i could take her... I wish i could but it's too much of a risk... I need to put the furries in my house first... And it wouldn't be fair to take her knowing it may be a possibility to re-home her again... And Sam is a typical horny teen when it comes to ladies  ...
I really hope someone good will give her a forever home (before i talk my self out of been sensible) and give her a happy retirement...

And i can't see Lynn breeding her again... Then again, she does have a high number of accidents :?

I would take her if its true that she is good with other dogs.. I have a cat and Nova is not exactly good with cats :o it's ok as long as they don't run away from her... then she will hunt  she is just like her mom I guess :)
If everything is true.. that she is good with people, dogs and cats I would gladly give her a home here with us. :D
It's just that I have come to the point that I don't trust every word being written about dogs for re-homing. :? :( :?
SA is not good but Maccon got the same problem.. gotten much better though..and I don't think that is any BIG problem for us. Nova have never ever had any SA.. and she is Zuuls daughter :D

She would also need to be spayed before coming hear... I know everyone has said she is good with other dogs and kids...
It has also come to the point of not trusting what people say anymore for me :( ... But been back with Lynn, hell would freeze over before she even entertained the idea of even considering me to take her...

"Update on Zuul. We have found her a lovely forever home where she

Exactly... and then to go back again the same year, breeding one bitch every year, is too much for any dog (especially not being spayed)...

The first litter was in 2013... So if you follow that timeline, she had her first litter when she was just over 1 year old - which is pretty young for a bitch to have a litter. The fact that she's been breeding ever since is worrying and doesn't seem right to me!
And yes, I agree with you about only having one pup survive from a litter shouldn't be an excuse to breed again straight away - there are too many dogs in need of homes as it is without adding more puppies to the mix!
