Care of tam

Post by cazmegkai » Fri Jun 26, 2020 7:40 pm

Hi from rural South Lanarkshire Scotland, I've been reading about the tam and was wondering if they are as easy to look after as border collies. I have 3 border collies just now but at aged 15, full of arthritis and almost blind Cara is slowing down a lot and I have fallen in love with the tam. I am also around huskies quite a lot as I have many friends with huskies or malamute

Welcome to the forum! Tamaskan Dogs are somewhat more stubborn and independent compared to border collies, but they are equally intelligent and fast learners. However, they are easier to train than huskies or malamutes, and usually have better recall too! You can see more info here: www.sylvaen.com/temperament.html
